I enjoy photography, fashion, blogging (I’m addicted to Tumblr),working with my pigs and taking them to jackpot shows, reading, watching Saturday Night Live every weekend, and hanging out with my friends! Throughout school, I have been very involved with Student Council, Cheerleading, 4-H and FFA.
- Why I Love Farmers and Ranchers?
I love farmers and ranchers because they are the backbone of our country and without them the United States would not be what it is today. We are one of the only countries that can feed its own population with enough to spare to feed countries around the globe. I live in Yuma, Arizona, a farming community considered to be the “Winter Lettuce Capitol of the World”! Without farmers there would be no food, and I think too many people take that for granted. We all need to give thanks and appreciate the hard working men and women who produce the food that we love. Even though I did not grow up on a farm, my family has been involved in many different aspects of agriculture, which gives me an awareness of how the agricultural industry works. I just love it! Raising swine in 4H and FFA has also taught me so much about animal production and how it fits into the food supply of our country and our world. Therefore, I Love Farmers…They Feed My Soul!
